Canoe & Kayak Hire

Canoe & Kayak Hire

THE RIVER WYE
MINIMUM AGE – 4 YEARS

Operating since 1992, our team here at Black Mountain Activities have a great deal of knowledge and experience when it comes to hiring canoes and providing water sports on the river Wye in South Wales.

Our fleet consists of open canoes that seat 2 or 3 people (also known as Canadian canoes) and single person sit-on-top Kayaks, giving you a choice of craft for your leisurely journey down the river. You will find yourself truly spoilt when paddling down this beautiful stretch of water starting from Glasbury-on-Wye, taking in the stunning views of the Black Mountains and surrounding countryside as well as getting glimpses of the local wildlife along the way.

Our canoe hire is available for either a half day or a full day or, for those looking to get away, we have 2-5 day hire – camping along the way.

At the end of your trip we will be on hand to collect you and return you to our activity centre – It’s that easy!

Canoe & Sit-on-Top Kayak hire is available for a half day, full day or for 2 or more days.
