Black Mountain Activities Ltd is looking for highly motivated people to join our experienced team. We are looking for staff who can positively contribute to our continued growth as an outdoor activity business. This is a good opportunity for someone looking for a position within an expanding business. As a multi activity centre we work with a wide range of ages and abilities from children, youth groups, families, social groups such as stag & hen parties as well as team building events for companies.
The role of the instructor is to deliver a safe, informative and enjoyable activity season. Working within the company’s guidelines and NGB qualifications. Where there is no qualification the company offers in house training. Some of our activities such as Gorge Walking, Caving and Rock Climbing take place around 40 minutes drive from the centre. Therefore you will be expected to transport our customers to these venues in one of our mini buses so having a D1 on your license would be an advantage. Car driving license is essential.
Working hours are normally from 8.30am – 5.30pm.
There will be times during your employment that you will be required to work additional evening hours; this is usually from 7.00PM – 9.00PM. A flexible weekly Roster is programmed on a weekly basis.
All applicant must have at least 2 of the following NGB qualifications and a current first aid certificate:
15k to 17k pro rata depending on qualifications
