kayaks
have moved on a long way and over the past few years,
boat designs have made boats more controllable and safer
to exit. You will spend the morning locally, learning
new skills and developing correct paddling techniques.
In the afternoon, the coaches will lead you on a short
expedition down river, to put your newly found skills
into practice. Throughout the day, the emphasis is placed
on safe, enjoyable fun through progressive teaching
and confidence building.
We also run BCU Star awards 1, 2, & 3 for both Kayaking and Open Canoeing. So if you have some experience and would like to further enhance your knowledge, and gain some star awards then our instructional staff will help to improve your skills and knowledge of Kayaking. Whether
it's a days kayaking, or open canoeing with or without
qualified instruction or a multi day canoe
expedition, to explore
the length and breadth of the river. (See
