🌿 WHAT TO EXPECT

Here’s what to expect on your gorge walking adventure in the Brecon Beacons — an unforgettable day of climbing, scrambling, swimming and jumping through wild mountain waterfalls.

On the day, you’ll meet your experienced gorge instructor at Dinas Rock, the gorge location. Here, you’ll be fully kitted out with a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet before stepping straight into the river to begin your adventure.

From the moment you enter the water, the experience comes alive. Guided upstream by your instructor, you’ll work your way through a natural obstacle course carved by the river over thousands of years.

Along the way, expect to take on challenges such as:

• Boulder hopping across rushing water
• Scrambling up natural cascades and rock steps
• Waterfall jumping into deep pools
• Traversing narrow ledges and rugged rock formations
• And plenty more hidden surprises along the route

Every section brings something new, building confidence, excitement and adrenaline as you progress deeper into the gorge.

For those joining a full-day experience, the adventure builds to the ultimate highlight — Loonies Leap, an 18ft jump into the gorge below for those brave enough to take it on.
