Rafting takes place on the upper reaches of the River Wye, under the supervision of experienced raft guides, who will prepare you to skillfully tackle some of Wales' most demanding white water sections. Trips cover up to 15 miles, encountering several grade 2-4 rapids. Including the infamous "hell hole".
Raft Animation White water rafting is an ideal way to experience the excitement of moving white water - a must for those who enjoy getting wet and love white-knuckle rides. From the tranquil head waters and scenic gorges of the River Wye to the thrills and swims of the thundering, boiling adrenaline pumping white water.

Special notes:
River Levels:- White water rafting is dependent on water levels and therefore only runs from
October to March. When the water levels are low, rafters will have the opportunity to run the same river in the 3 person micro rafts - Hot Dogs. When the water levels are very low for rafting then participants will be offered a choice of either open canoeing, high level ropes including abseiling and the exciting 80 meter zip wire or the BMA "Wet" gorge adventure
Age:-
Minimum age 16 years and maximum 65 years, unless you have a doctors letter to say that you are fit and healthy!
Weight:- Maximum Weight is 18 stone or 114 kg's

Glasses:-
persons who wear glasses or contact lens should make sure that they are secure on their head before they go rafting and that they have a spare set with their change of clothes. Black Mountain cannot be held responsible for any loss.
 
Costs includes wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet Specials if booked before 11th February 2011 £59.00p/p save £10.00 per person

What do you need:- Complete change of clothes and towel, shorts to wear over the wetsuit, fleece, walking boots or sturdy trainers
