You can join us for a great activity weekend or stay for the week. We have designed our packages to get the most out of your stay with us.
Prices include accommodation at the Black Mountain lodge, activities, packed lunches and some evening meals.
Our activity weeks starts on Sunday Evening where you can arrive at your leisure and check in at the Lodge, and relax ready for your exciting week ahead (our restaurant is open from 6.30 to 9pm) |

Tuesday:- kayaking your BCU Coach coach, will
kite you up with a buoyancy aid, helmet, paddle and of
course the kayak. You will spend the morning locally, learning
new skills and developing correct paddling techniques.
In the afternoon, the coaches will lead you on a short
expedition down river, to put your newly found skills
into practice.
Wednesday:- AM High Level Ropes with elements such as Monkey Swings , Indian Rope Bridge, Postman’s Walk, Jacob’s ladder, Crisis Cross, Grapevine, and the Leap of Faith! followed with a afternoon of open Canoeing, after an introduction your instructor will teach you the basic skills need to paddle a canoe, you will then follow your instructor downstream to Hay a five mile journey playing a few game along the way!
Thursday:- AM Archery you will be taught the skill necessary to enable you to fire arrows at a target, after a couple of goes you will soon be scoring higher and higher
and soon be going for gold. P.M Orienteering compass and map in hand as
you work your way around the course collecting control
points "getting lost on that old road map will
be a thing of the past!"
Friday:- A full on day of Gorge
Walking ,this no ordinary walk in the park will see
your self jumping across boulders,
and leaping in to deep pools A great finish to the week
