Archery has been around for centuries, both as a method of hunting and a way of waging war. Now it is (by and large) a recreational sport which is fun, challenging, very competitive and suitable for all ages.

Archery takes place on site, at Black Mountain Activities, on our recently completed purpose built archery range.This allows participants the chance to learn the skills of archery safely, comfortably and under the close supervision of our instructors.

The centre has a range of bows suitable for all ages and sizes from lightweight training bows suitable for children to more powerful recurve bows. Once you have got used to your bow and had some pointers from one of our instructors, you will be scoring higher and higher and soon be going for gold!
This activity is great for families with children and a relaxing way to spend a few hours for anyone.
